An early start today as we go south from Fort William and
take you across three island ferries, through majestic glens
and by remote lochs to the Isle of Mull, travelling the length
of the island, the scenery forever changing.
We pass the mighty Castle Duart (option), seat of the Clan
McLean, standing guard on the entrance to the Sound of Mull
and Loch Linnhe
The island of Iona, with its Columban Abbey, is a spiritual
place for people from all over the world.
We then travel to Tobermory with its brightly-painted houses,
its harbour and its own television series (Balimory) - it
also, we're pleased to say, has its own distillery.
After all this travelling we must return to the reality of
the trip back to 'The Fort'.
