We begin our journey from Fort William at about 8.00 a.m.
and travel to Glenfinnan - Bonnie Prince Charlie
and Harry Potter country - and on Lochailort and
Arisaig to the fishing port of Mallaig where
we board the car ferry to Skye.
On Skye you can visit the Clan Donald Centre,
with the ruins of Armadale Castle and Gardens, before
moving on to the village of Broadford.
We travel the length of the island, passing the famous Talisker
Distillery (option) and on to the impressive Dunvegan
Castle, home of the Clan McLeod.
Leaving Dunvegan we cross to the other side of the
island to Portree, the largest town on Skye, and
on to the new Skye Bridge and Eilean Donan Castle,
Glen Shiel, Invergarry and the Great Glen on
the way home.
